When you’re overwhelmed by stress in your life, one of the easiest things to do is to ignore others and concentrate on yourself. It’s been proven that stress can kill you. However, a new study indicates that you may want to reconsider this looking-out-for-Number-One-only attitude. Researchers have found that people who help others - not from a sense of obligation but because they truly want to be helpful - are less likely to die than people who have no interest in helping their friends or neighbors.
